Undergraduate new student Orientation is a program designed to assist newly admitted students in their transition to the University of Connecticut at Storrs. This comprehensive program designed to educate UConn’s newest community members includes an introduction to academic advisement, in addition to class registration, presentations and workshops with key UConn faculty and staff members, social activities, and building a connection to campus life. All newly admitted students are required to attend Orientation. Each orientation program is tailored to the type of students who are attending including freshman, transfer, international, and campus change. There are also Orientation programs for freshmen and transfer parents.
